Davide Mogetta

(Independent — Italy/International)

He recently curated an exhibition at A arte Invernizzi in Milan exploring the formative tension of fragility in works by Dadamaino, François Morellet, Arcangelo Sassolino, Günter Umberg, and Grazia Varisco — five figures from different generations of international art. The lineage he inhabits — post-constructivist, concrete, monochrome — is among the most rigorous in postwar European painting. He is not curating grievances; he is curating the logic of surface and reduction. Italian, independent, mid-career, and operating at precisely the scale that would make Palazzo Vimana interesting rather than small. Ideal fit, geographically and intellectually.
