Christelle Havranek
(Kunsthalle Praha)Her record is the most defensible on the list. A sustained engagement with art-historical genealogy — Cubism as postgraduate focus, a major inaugural exhibition tracing kinetic art from the Bauhaus forward, a solo show built around Gregor Hildebrandt whose practice is entirely rooted in the material conditions of image-making. She works from form outward, not from politics inward. One does not easily forgive the "inclusive platform" rhetoric, but the exhibitions themselves speak with more discipline than the press releases.
